The broker's rolling video buffer must be sized to cover at least the clip window (e.g., 15s pre-violation + 15s post). The clip extraction process must complete within the alert delivery latency budget. For a local-network system with a camera feed stored on-premise, extraction time is typically under 2 seconds. For a cloud-routed setup, this needs explicit measurement.
